Bike hire.
Want to ride the Trail and have no bike? OR how about hiring a mountain bike to check out the great tracks in the nearby forest – we can show you where to go.
Our hire bikes are quality Jamis or Wheeler mountain bikes.
Rates:
$30 per day
$20 half day
$10 per hour
(includes helmet, lock if required).

The Lilydale to Warburton Rail Trail is Victoria’s most popular rail trail, it offers 40 kilometres of country riding on well-kept gravel trail. You will pass through farmland, over old railway bridges, through tea-tree groves and over running creeks. As you approach Warburton there are fantastic vistas of the Yarra Ranges. When you arrive at Warburton you will a great little tourist town with plenty of cafes and places to rest and relax by the river.

It takes about 2 to 3 hours to ride the trail in one direction, and Warburton has plenty of places to stay if you want to relax overnight and continue on the next day.

To get to the Trail on public transport catch the train from Melbourne’s Flinders Street station on the Lilydale line to Lilydale. 

Cog Bike Cafe is located 7 kilometres from Lilydale along the Trail.
