Social MTB ride tonight (Thurs Nov 30) 6.30pm - 1 1/2 hours in the forest. Who knows might even end up at Lou's Lounge for some karaoke afterwards! Regular rides first and third Thursday of the month - next one next week Dec 7.
Walked around the farm this morning and picked some fresh cherries so today its fresh cherry muffins in the cafe - come and try one while they're hot. Libby

First birthday bash
On Sunday November 26 we celebrated Cog Bike Cafe's First Birthday. There was plenty to celebrate as the first year has been a big one for us. Thanks to all those customers who have come along and been a part of Cog thus far, and thanks to all the family and friends who have helped, visited and in some way or other been a part of Cog.
We kicked off the day with a 'Show and Shine' Bike show-off session. Some great bikes were on display and the public were the judges who chose in a few different categories.
Next we had a trials demo from the Fat Tyre Flyers trials guys, and lastly the event of the day, the 16 inch Speedway. There has been a lot of anticipation for this since we ran the first one at our opening. The local boys were so excited they even had t-shirts made up for the event! There were plenty of spills and action around the track, it was great to watch.

The Mount Evelyn and Districts 16 inch speedway title is up for grabs this weekend, Sunday November 26th. Heats comence at 4:30pm. Who will take out the title?? Will it be last years winner, 'skinsuit Sean'? Or will it be 'safety' Shaun? What about Dapper Dan (aka Handsome Dan)?
Promising young talent 'loco' Liam could cause an upset, apparently training at high altitude in Emerald for that extra edge. You've gotta be in it to win it. Come and watch the action as part of the Cog Bike Cafe 1st birthday celebrations.
