cog news

Winter is approaching and things are still busy here at Cog. Lots of disciples on the trail on weekends. Damo is heading off soon to work on an international arts festival in France, (see www.bambuco.com.au for details)

The shop will be chugging along as normal with a few small changes. Mondays whilst Damo is away, the doors will be closed, ( June 11, 18 25 and July 2nd )

The workshop will be looked after by the competant hands of Michael and James, see photo of
Michael fiddling with his DH rig.

Kate and Doris will be looking after the kitchen although Doris is taking a break and heading off to Germany for a bit.

This Thurs night is Nachos and DVD night take 2, since last time it rained and we didn't ride. Call ahead to book for food, otherwise just turn up for a 6:30 pm start with good front and rear lights.

COG Warby overnight ride

Another ride to Warby, the first for Autumn. We leave the shop Saturday 12th April at 2:30 pm for the 'turtles' and 3:30pm for 'hares'. The plan is to get to Warby before dark and eat dinner at the Polish Jester as usual.

Book accommodation as you wish but most people stay at the Alpine Retreat Hotel, (ph.5966 2411, mention you're with the Cog cafe) The hotel is simple , clean and very affordable. Brekky is available, but there is plenty of other places to eat Sun morning.

We ride back to Mount Evelyn on Sun at any old time, (depending on the night before!). Damo usually leaves early with Bardi-Girl to open the shop and make sure the egg pies are up to standard. Give the shop a call if you're coming otherwise see you Saturday Arvo.
